restaurantOur chef delights in preparing light and creative dishes as well as traditional German specialities for our guests.
Nowadays, more than ever, it is good to know exactly what we are eating and drinking. Therefore, in compiling our menu, we place particular importance on highest quality and premium taste, especially in regard to sensitive foods such as beef, pork and poultry.

The only building in Hildesheim’s city centre which withstood the air raids during World War II, was the so-called “Bürgermeisterkapelle“, where today you can sit and enjoy the romantic atmosphere along with a drink and a delicious meal.

The “Bürgermeisterkapelle“ was erected in 1562. Jost Brandes, mayor at the time, had this little church built for his exclusive use. Years later, the chapel was turned into a wine tavern. At the devastating end of the Second World War, the “Bürgermeisterkapelle“ was a shelter for the homeless and became the starting point of today’s building.

Our menu varies daily. A wide menu selection will enable you to make a choice sure to delight your individual taste. Please click here for a pdf file of our German Menu.
